Virgil Van Dijk wasn't left out of the up celebrations, as he shared an inspirational post via his Social Media page;
"Just a kid from Breda, becoming a Premier League Champion.
"This is a dream come true, but an "opportunity" to "remind every kid in the world that anything is possible. Hard work and perseverance!
"Don't let anyone's ignorance, hate or negativity stop you from being the best you can be!
"Thanks to my family, fans, teammates, and the whole staff.
"Liverpool this is for YOU".

The former Celtic and Southampton defender, joined Liverpool who broke their transfer record to secure his signing in January 2018 for a reported fee of £75miilion plus add ons.

Van Dijk has been very vital to Jurgen Klopp's team, and in less than six months after his arrival, his defending and leadership skills helped Liverpool reach the Champions League final in Kiev 2018 which they lost 3-1 to the defending champions Real Madrid.

A year later, Van Dijk was part of the Reds defence that won the Champions League for the sixth time after a 2-0 victory over Tottenham in an all English final at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano  in Madrid.

He also won the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, and now the Premier League trophy.

Van Dijk also speaking to Sky Sports during the ceremony at Anfield, described the triumph as “a dream come true.”
“To finally get our hands on the Premier League trophy is a dream come true for all of us,” he said.

“It’s been quite a long wait for everyone, Liverpool fans around the world, for us obviously.

“And it’s just a great feeling, fantastic feeling to say that I’m a Premier League champion, and the rest of the boys as well.”

"We’ve had an outstanding season so far, we only lost twice, so no one can say anything about us.

“We’re all deserved champions, seven games before the end of the season, it’s never happened before.

“Everyone can have their opinion about [five] substitutes, water breaks, but we shouldn’t focus on that.

“We won it by a mile, well-deserved, and we will celebrate and next season we will try and retain it.”
