An Emotional Night At The Memorial Of Kobe Bryant And His 13-year-old Daughter Alongside Other Victims Who Died In a Tragic Helicopter Crash.

It was such an emotional Monday night, as almost 20,000 mourners gathered at the powerful public memorial service which was held at the Staples Center in  Los Angeles in honor of the victims and NBA legend Kobe Bryant alongside his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who all died  in an helicopter crash on Sunday morning 26th January, 2020 amid foggy conditions in the hills above Calabasas, California.

"Vanessa Bryant"

The wife of Kobe Bryant speaks publicly for the first time at the memorial, as she honors her 41-year-old husband and their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna with an emotional speech;
"Gianna was tender and loving on the inside. She had the best laugh. It was infectious. It was pure and genuine. Kobe and Gianna naturally gravitated toward each other."
"Gigi would've gone on to become the best player in the NBA." ... She mourns as she speaks on her late husband;

"I couldn't see him as a celebrity, nor just an incredible basketball player. He was my sweet husband, and the beautiful father of our children."
"We had always talked about how we'd be the fun grandparents to our daughter's children. He would've been the coolest grandpa. Kobe was the MVD of girldads."
"God knew they couldn't be on this earth without each other. He had to bring them home to have them together.

"Babe, you take care of our Gigi." take care of our Gigi. I've got Natalia, Bianka and Capri. We're still the best team."... Vanessa Bryant!

"Michael Jordan"

Former American basketballer, Micheal Jordan '57' assisted Vanessa Bryant off the stage, as he pays homage to his brother and friend Kobe Bryant;
"Maybe it’s a surprise to people that Kobe and I were very close friends…When Kobe Bryant died a piece of me died." Michael Jordan opens up about his special relationship with Kobe.
"He was like a little brother, and I just wanted to be the best big brother I could be."
"What he accomplished as a basketball player, as a businessman, as a storyteller and as a father... Kobe left nothing in the tank, he left it all on the floor."
"Now I'll have to look at another crying meme for the next three or four years... I told my wife I wasn't going to do this, but that is what Kobe Bryant does to me".... Concluded the teary Jordan.

Shaquille O'Neal (Shaq)

Former teammate Shaquille O'Neal (Shaq) '47' also told the crowd through his powerful encomiums that; "Kobe and I always held a deep respect and love for one another," calling him "Heaven's MVP."
"Know we got your back, little brother. I will look after things down here. I will teach Natalia and Bianca and Capri basketball moves, but I promise I will not teach them my free throw techniques."
Shaq shares a story about telling Kobe that..
“The guys were complaining. They said ‘Shaq, Kobe’s not passing the ball.’ I sad ‘I’ll talk to him.’ I said ‘Kobe, there’s no I in team.’ He said ‘I know, but there’s an ME in the Mother F**cker’”

Lakers Geneneral Manager "Rob Pelinka" whom appears to have received a text from Kobe on the morning before his death, was also in attendance, “He just loved his girls and there was nothing in the world that meant more to him.”... he said.

American singer, Beyonce kicked off with a special performance of 'XO and Halo', two of Kobe's favourite songs, in honor of the legend.

Other notable celebrities like Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Snoop Dogg among others, were all in attendance at the memorial night, in what seems to be the biggest and tragic loss of an American celebrity.
