Moussa Marega Blast Vitoria de Guimaraes Fans For Racially Abusing Him.
Porto forward Moussa Marega walked off the field of play during their game against Vitoria Guimaraes on Sunday, after facing racist abuse from the opposition fans.
28-year-old Marega received monkey like chants from home fans in Porto's game away to Vitoria SC in the Primeira Liga on Sunday. D.Jesus opened the scoring with an own goal for Porto in the 10th minutes of the game, before B.Duarte equalized at the beginning of the second half in the 49th minutes, M. Marega then scored the second for Porto in the 60th minutes, a goal that proved to be the winner before he started to walk off the pitch in the 69th minutes of the match. in a bid to subtitute himself after being racially abused.
The Malian forward raised his middle fingers to the Vitoria fans in anger for their disgusting action, while storming off the pitch in a bid to subtitute himself. Teammates tried to calm him from leaving the pitch but all to no avail.
The game finally ended 2-1 at full time in favor of the away side Porto.
CloudNine Sports understands that Moussa Marega was a former Vitoria de Guimarães player on loan from Porto in the 2016/17 season, before returning back to Porto in the summer of 2017. He scored 13 goals in his 25 appearance with the club.
Moussa Marega then took to his Instagram handle saying :

The President of Vitoria de Guimarães Miguel Pinto Lisboa, also expressed his disapproval of the extremely unpleasant actions by the club fans involved but then also tried to excuse them via the clubs website saying;
