Victor Osimhen Reveals He Has Been Taking Advice From Odion Ighalo, As He Craves A Big Move To The Premier League.
Lille football club rising star, Victor Osimhen has revealed that he rejected a move to join some of Europe top clubs, such as Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus and the rest, as it wasn't the best option for him at that time of his career.
Victor Osimhen was seen as a hotshot, after his sensational performance at the 2015 FIFA Under 17 World Cup, where he was the tournament top scorer with 10 goals, as the Golden Eaglets were crowned champions, clinching thier fifth title in the history of the tournament.
However, the Nigerian international, rejected all advances from a host of top clubs, as he decided to join German club side Wolfsburg instead in 2017, in order to build and devrlop his career.

The 21-year-old speaking in an interview with Independent UK, specifically said he rejected a move to join Arsenal, who were top contenders among other clubs to signing him three years ago;
"I spoke with Arsene Wenger after the tournament ended and he wanted me to come to Arsenal,' he told the Independent. 'I had a lot of options. Barcelona, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and the rest.'
"Arsenal was a good option but it wasn't the best at the time. I wanted to start playing as soon as I turned 18."
"I wanted to go to a place where I had time to invest in my game and improve physically. Wolfsburg showed me that possibility."
Osimhen who now craves for an ambition to play in a big club in the Premier League, also said he has been taking advice from fellow compatriot and Manchester United's on-loan forward Odion Ighalo, about how life in England's top flight looks like;
'I've spoken to Odion [Ighalo] about it. He gave me very good advice, he's a legend and a big brother, my goal is to play at one of the biggest clubs in the world but now I'm very happy in Lille"... He continued
"My priority is to play a lot of games. Signing for a big club as being on the bench is not exciting for me."
CloudNine Sports understands that, Osimhen is currently enjoying a brilliant debut campaign in the Ligue 1, having scored 18 goals in 38 games across all competitions before the season was suspended indefinitely due to the current global health crisis caused by coronavirus.
