OFFICIAL: Bruno Fernandes Crowned The Premier League Player Of The Month Of June.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been awarded the Premier League Player of the month of June.
The Portuguese international has now won the award for two months in a row after winning that of February before the suspension of the league in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He becomes the only player for Man United to have won the award two-consecutive times since after his fellow country man Cristiano Ronaldo in November and December 2006.
CloudNine Sports reported in March that with a goal and twp assist, Bruno Fernandes who joined Man United in January, won the Potm award of February in just his first month stay at the club.
Fernandes emerged winner ahead of Wolves defender Conor Coady, Southampton striker Danny Ings, Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, Newcastle forward Allan Saint-Maximin and his fellow United teammate Anthony Martial who were also nominated for the award.
The Potm award of June includes two games played in March, as well as the three games played in June. And with 4 goals and 1 assist, Fernandes wins the award.
He has been directly involved in United 13 goals in his first 10 Premier League matches, scoring 7 goals and creating 6 assists. He has continued with his fine form with 2 goals and 3 assists already in 2 games this July.
His magnificent second goal against Brighton and Hove Albion on 30 June at the Amex staduim also won him his first United Goal-of-the-Month award of June.

Fernandes was also crowned United's Player of the Month for June last Saturday making it the third time in a row he has claimed that particular prize, snce his arrival at the Theatre of Dreams.
