"I'm Concerned About Chelsea's Recent Form" — Thomas Tuchel Expresses Displeasure

Thomas Tuchel has expressed his displeasure with Chelsea's recent 'mistakes' claiming that they have harmed his team's'self-confidence.

Chelsea had an up-and-down season in 2022, putting in a season-best display versus Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu and making the FA Cup final, but also losing to Brentford and Arsenal in shock defeats.

Individual blunders have been at the root of many of these terrible performances, with Edouard Mendy, Andreas Christensen, and Cesar Azpilicueta being three recent examples.

Tuchel has expressed his displeasure over these errors ahead of the Blues' match against high-flying West Ham United: "I'm concerned about the frequency of errors.""By 2022, we'd already made eight major errors that resulted in goals." Tuchel was quick to accept that he may be to blame for some of the mistakes, stating that it is his responsibility to keep the players 'awake' and tuned in to every game they play.
