Chelsea, Arsenal Set To Battle Over The Signature Of Top French Midfielder Adrien Rabiot

French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, is attracting a lot of attention, with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Barcelona all interested in signing him. Since joining Juventus in Turin, he has generally been put to good use. Under Maurizio Sarri and later Andrea Pirlo, he fell out of favor.

However, under Massimiliano Allegri, the French midfielder appears to have carved out a permanent spot in the squad.

Last summer, Juventus added Manuel Locatelli, putting Rabiot's spot in the team in jeopardy. Allegri, on the other hand, has managed to successfully combine the two players. However, the 27-year-old French international may not be in the plans of the Serie A giants in the long run, indicating a summer departure.

Given that he arrived on a free transfer from PSG, his contract expires in 2023, allowing Juventus to make a small profit in the coming window. Rabiot is currently being pursued by a number of clubs, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona at the top of the list.

He might be available for a modest price, according to the report, which is estimated to be between €15 and €20 million. Allegri wants to recruit Jorginho from Chelsea and expects to play the UEFA Euro 2020 winner alongside Locatelli and Denis Zakaria next season.

Chelsea's ownership status appears shaky, as they are unable to buy, sell, or renew existing player contracts. Jorginho, who has a contract through 2023, is one of them. While the new ownership difficulties are being resolved, they'll look to strengthen their squad for next season.

Rabiot is also a target for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta is looking for a new left-sided midfielder, and the 27-year-old French international fits the bill. Arsenal, like Chelsea, would concentrate their attention and resources on other areas, so a financially viable choice would be on their radar.

Barcelona are also interested in signing the midfielder, as Xavi Hernandez's system requires someone with experience and the ability to integrate into it. Rabiot possesses all of these qualities and, from a budgetary standpoint, may be a feasible alternative for Barcelona.
