We Are Ready To Suffer Against Villarreal As Part Of Our Game Plan _ Says Jurgen Klopp.

Despite the fact that this fantastic season is nearly over, Liverpool are still firing on all cylinders as they slug it out on three fronts. 

Liverpool are on the verge of doing the unthinkable and win the quadruple (all four trophies) available this season.

Having clinched the League Cup final against Chelsea on penalties in February, Jürgen Klopp’s side are also in the FA Cup final against Chelsea set for May 14, and have one foot in the Champions League final after a 2-0 home win against Villarreal in the first leg of their semifinal. 

They are also just a point behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, with just four games left after narrowly beating Newcastle 1-0 last Saturday, while City thrashed Leeds.

On the eve of Liverpool's departure to Spain to face Villarreal in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, manager Jürgen Klopp spoke in his press conference about the challenges that lie ahead in the coming weeks.

The German has urged caution ahead of his side's Champions League semi-final second leg against Villarreal, despite his team's 2-0 advantage, that none of his players or staff can relax against Unai Emery's men.

"We must have done something good with all of these things during the season, certainly with the circumstance we are in," he remarked.

"It's good to know and it's more of an inside sensation than that we're continuously soaring and high-fiving here and there that we're in a good place.

"But my only concern is what we do tomorrow night, and we must be prepared to suffer, but not by going down 1-0 or anything like that, but by steering the game in the right direction."

"We will have to suffer and we will have to sit back in moments, definitely, but not as a general approach. So, let's see."

After their 2-0 triumph at home last week at Anfield courtesy of an own goal from Pervis Estupiñán and Sadio Mane goal, the Reds enter this match with a 2-0 lead in the tie. 

They do, however, face a very strong Villarreal side at home that advanced to the semi-finals by defeating two gaints Bayern Munich and Juventus in the process, so even with a two-goal advantage, the team must be cautious.

Klopp confirmed, "We have to be ready to play a good game because they will go for us."

In the other semi-final, Manchester City has a two-goal advantage against Real Madrid. 

Liverpool's quest to reach a third Champions League final in five seasons in Paris will come to fruition if they avoid a 2 goals margin defeat at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
