Mohamed Salah says He is not Happy with the way women are been treated in our culture!

The 26-year-old Egyptian professional footballer,born 15th June, 1992, Mohammed Salah who plies his trade as a forward for English Premier League Football Club Liverpool and also plays for the Egypt national team. Popularly known for his speed, finishing and hard-work on the pitch of play,considered to be one of the best footballer in the world and the 2017 and 2018 best footballer in Africa. He has recently be named one of the world's 100 most influential people by TIME.

Mohamed Salah, a practicing Muslim, after a scintillating 2017/2018 season with his club side Liverpool in the Premier League, which saw him beat previous record of 31 goals in a 38-game Premier League season,He is the first African player to score 30 goals in a single Premier League season. Salah is the first person to be named the Premier League Player (PFA) of the month three times in one season, winning the prize in November,February and March. Salah has also scored 26 goals in 46 appearance in all competitions this season.


On Wednesday, Mohamed Salah was named alongside, United States President Donald Trump, American Music Star Ariana Grande, with other athletes, Basketball Icon Lebron James, Greatest golfer of all time Tiger Woods, and Current World number one Naomi Osaka amongst others.


Salah who used the platform, as he joined his voice with many others in advocating for gender equality as he told TIME; While his attitudes towards gender equality had evolved over the years, He wanted to see more changes. He calls on men who share in his faith to change their ways.

Mohamed Salah who is seen as a god in Egypt after helping the country qualify for the first time since 1990, for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, was quoted saying;
"I think we need to change the way we treat women in our culture. It's not optional. "I support the woman more than i did before, because i feel like she deserves more than what they give her at the moment."
