Bruno Fernandes Finally Joins Dream Club Manchester United.

Manchester United on Thursday, confirmed the signing of number 1 target Bruno Fernandes on a five-and-a-half-year contract, with an option to extend a further year.


The Portuguese Midfielder, Fernandes undergo a medical at United’s AON Training Complex before putting pen to paper, to complete his switch from Sporting Lisbon.

United who failed to sign Fernandes last summer, have now paid an initial £46.6million then with two further add-on payments of £8.5m and £12.7m which is a clause, and the total Add-ons us £21million.


The 25-year-old, Fernandes has scored 15 goals and provided 14 assists in 28 games across all competitions this season for Sporting Lisbon.

The signing means so much for Manchester United who were desperate to add more creativity to their squad this month and push on for a top four place for next season, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now have more options to choose in the Midfield.


Manchester United new signing, Bruno Fernandes speaking through the club website says;

United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaks on the new addition to the team; 
"Bruno is a terrific human being with a great personality and his leadership qualities are clear for all to see.  
"His goals and assists stats speak for themselves, and he will be a fantastic addition to our team and he will help us push on in the second part of the season. The winter break is coming at a perfect time for us to integrate Bruno into the squad and for him to get to know his team-mates.”

Cloud Nine Sports understands that, The Portuguese international has scored 63 goals, 52 assist in 137 apparances for Sporting Club de Portugal. He was also among the successful squad that win the UEFA Nations League with Portugal in 2019.

Bruno Fernandes who wears the No.8 shirt for Sporting, will now wear the No.18 shirt for Manchester United which was formerly worn by Ashley Young before his departure to Inter Milan.
