Sergio Aguero Emerge Premier League Player of the Month For A Record-Breaking the Seventh Time.

Manchester City striker,  Sergio Kun Aguero has been named the Premier League Player of the Month Award for the month if January, making him the only player to have won the award for a record-breaking seventh time...


The 31-year-old Argentine forward, a hattrick and an asisst away to Aston Villa, 2 goals at home to Crystal Palace, and 1 goal away to Sheffield United that is a total of six goals and an assist to win the award.

He won the award ahead of Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Alisson Bercker (Liverpool), Abdoulaye Doucoure (Watford), Ayoze Perez (Leicester City), Jack Stephens (Southampton), and Jack Grealish (Aston villa).


Aguero joined Manchester City from Athletico Madrid in the summer of 2011, and since then he has scored 180 goals in 258 appearance for the club. He has broken records, as highest goal scorer for a Foreign player in Premier League history, and also the player to have scored the most Hat-tricks in the Premier League (12 Hat-tricks). 



CloudNine Sports reports that Aguero has emerged the Premier League player of the month for the seventh time, that is more than any other player in the history of the competition, surpassing Steven Gerrard and Harry Kane who have won it six times each.

Since his move to the blue side of Manchester. He won it first in October 2013, then also won it in November 2014, January 2016, April 2016, January 2018, February 2019 and now January 2020.

He doesn't looks to stop anytime soon as he is the main striker for Pep Guardiola's side who sits currently in second with 51 points in the Premier League standings, and 22 below League leaders Liverpool with 73 points after 25 round of matches.
