Odion Ighalo Scores His First Ever Goal For His Dream Club Manchester United.

Odion Ighalo made it to the starting line up for the first time as Manchester United player, scoring his first ever goal for the club.


Ole Gunnar Solskjaer men on thursday, cruised to a 5-0 victory in their Europa League round of 32 return-leg fixture against Club Brugge at Old Trafford, after the first leg ended 1-1 at the Jan Breydel staduim in Belguim.

Bruno fernandes opened the scoring on the night from the penalty spot in the 27th minutes of the match after Simon deli was shown a red card for trying to stop a shot from Daniel James with his hand.

Ighalo who became the first Nigerian to play for the club, added the second goal in the 34th minutes having successfully smashed in a squared pass from Juan Mata in the box. Scott McTominay was also not left out, as he made his first start to the team following an injury he suffered since Boxing day, added the third goal at the strokes of half-time.

Fred finished the scoring for the reds on the night with a fourth and fifth goal in the 82 and 90+3 minutes of the game, giving United a massive 5-0 results at full-time. The Brazilian was voted the Man of the Match.

Manchester United have now found their way into the last sixteen of the Europa League, as they await their opponent when the draws are made on Friday at 12:00pm (WAT).




A delighted Odion Ighalo on scoring his first goal for his childhood dream club;

The 30-year-old forward, Odion Ighalo dedicated his first United goal to his late sister "Mary Atole" who died on the 12th December 2019.
