Phillipe Coutinho Prefers to Remain at Bayern Rather than going back to Barcelona.

Philippe Coutinho says he wants to remain at Bayern Munich rather than going back to Barcelona when his loan move ends.

The 27-year-old Brazilian is on a season long loan with Bayern Munich since the start of the 2019/20 season, and has told the German side and parent club Barcelona about his intentions of making his loan permanent.

The former Liverpool Midfielder, has not really been impressive for Bayern Munich who paid €8.5 million and also agreed to pay his wages just to bring him on loan this season. Bayern also have an option to make his loan move permanent for €120 million in the summer of 2020, but maybe unlikely to do so because of his poor form.

Coutinho has scored seven goals and created eight assists in 27 games across all competitions for Bayern. His agent has reportedly offered him to join Maurizio Sarri's side at Juventus rather than going back to the Camp Nou.

CloudNine Sports understands that Juventus were interested in signing Coutinho last summer, but when neither Paulo Dybala and d €80million.Gonzalo Higuain moved, they dropped their interest in the 27-year-old.

Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG are other clubs who are closely monitoring the situation and could likely make a move for Coutinho.
