Tammy Abraham Will Be In The Matchday Squad To Face Tottenham Hotspur... Says Chelsea's Boss "Frank Lampard.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, confirms that England forward Tammy Abraham is set to make a return to the Chelsea's Matchday squad to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.


The 22-year-old Tammy Abraham who has scored 13 goals and 3 assist in the league this season, was rested having suffered a minor injury in training before their Premier League clash with Manchester United last Monday, is now set to make a return to the Chelsea squad when they host Jose Mourinho Spurs at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea Vs Tottenham fixture, will be the first kick-off match in the Premier League Matchday27 round of fixtures, with Kick Off time scheduled at 13:30 (West African Time).

The London derby tomorrow seems to be a very important fixture for both teams, as just one point seperates them in the Premier League standings. Chelsea currently sits in fourth place with 41 points while Spurs are in fifth place with 40 points.



Following a frustrating 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester United last Monday, Frank Lampard side have been winless in their last 4 league matches, and will now be looking to record a league double over Jose Mourinho’s side for the first time in 14 years following their 2-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in December.


Frank Lampard speaking earlier today in the pre-match press conference started by saying;
Tammy has trained and he is in the squad,’ N'Golo Kante is not fit, he has a muscle injury and will be out for three weeks. Pulisic is not fit.Christensen went to get a mask for a broken nose but is available, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to training and recently played in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Cobham but won’t yet be considered for selection as he continues to build up fitness."


Meanwhile former Chelsea and Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho will be visiting the Stamford Bridge for the first time as Spurs manager after a cruising to a 3-2 victory away to Aston Villa last weekend. 
He will be without key player "Son Heung-min" who recently had a surgery on his arm and could be out for the rest of the season for Tottenham. 
The South Korean has scored nine goals and created seven assist in the Premier League this season. Harry Kane also still remains a doubt with a hamstring injury. Moussa Sissoko is also sidelined and will miss out.
