Chelsea Youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi Has Fully Been Cured From Coronavirus And He Is Set To Return To Training.

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has fully completed his recovery from coronavirus, the Club Manager Frank Lampard has confirmed.


The 19-year-old winger was reported on Friday March 13th to have tested positive to COVID_19, and as a result he was asked self-isolate himself for 14-days.


Hudson-Odoi is apparently the only player in Chelsea's first team squad to have contacted the virus, but he his is now “feeling fine and back to his usual self” after his self-isolation period.

Chelsea board had initially closed down the the men's first team training ground at Cobham for deep cleansing following Hidson-Odoi test result, but has now been confirmed that it has been re-opened for use to anyone who is not self-isolating at the moment.

Frank Lampard had earlier reported last week, that his player was making great progress and looks close to feeling his usual self.

According to a statement from the clubs website;
”We are pleased to report Callum Hudson-Odoi is now feeling fine and back to his usual self."
"In addition to feeling good, the young winger is hard at work training at home to build and maintain his fitness, so as the rest of the remaining Chelsea squad."

CloudNine Sports understands that Callum Hudson-Odoi has spent most of his days out of the London blue squad this season, due to a recurring frustrating injury, He has only managed to scored 3 goals and 5 assists across all competitions for Lampard's team this season.
