Former Real Madrid President, Lorenzo Sanz Passes Away After Being Diagnosed With Coronavirus.
Real Madrid former president "Lorenzo Sanz", has died at the age of 76 after being diagnosed with coronavirus.
He had been exhibiting the Coronavirus symptoms for over a week, and was taken a hospital in Madrid last Tuesday before his death.
Real Madrid which was founded 118 years ago, has had different 18 presidents managed the club, and Lorenzo Sanz was the 14th president of the club.
Sanz’s sons Fernando and Lorenzo Sanz Jr. told the media earlier this week that their father was in a serious condition.

His son Lorenzo Sanz Jr., who is a former player and director of Real Madrid basketball team, and also a current commentator at Real Madrid TV, made the tragic annoucement on Saturday night via his social media handles saying ;

Lorenzo Sanz presided over the football club for five years (1995 to 2000), and under his management, Madrid won the La Liga, Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League twice, one in 1998 for the first time since 1966 (32-years) and another in 2000, before handing over to his successor Florentino Perez.
Real Madrid ha Is released a statement via the club website on Saturday that partly read:
"The club wishes to convey its condolences to his wife Mari Luz, his children, Lorenzo, Francisco, Fernando, MarÃa Luz [Malula] and Diana, as well as his family and friends. Our condolences are shared by all madridistas."
"Today, all of madrid is in mourning following the passing of the president who dedicated a huge part of his life to his great passion: Real Madrid."
Sanz was the father-in-law of former Real Madrid and Spain national team defender MÃchel Salgado, who married his daughter Malula.
