UEFA Postpones The Europa League Matches Between SEVILLA Vs ROMA, and INTER MILAN Vs GETAFE.

UEFA have annouced that the Europa League Round of 16 matches between Sevilla FC Vs AS Roma, and FC Internazionale Vs Getafe CF will not take place as scheduled.

Both fixtures which are between two Spanish clubs playing against Italian clubs have been postponed, due to planes from Italy are not authorised to land in Spain.

Getafe's President Angel Toress has stated earlier that his club will not travel to Italy for their game against Inter Milan, saying "If we have to loose the tie, then we loose it."

According to UEFA, travel restrictions between Spain and Italy imposed yesterday by the Spanish authorities has suspended Sevilla-Roma and Inter-Getafe in the Europa League this Thursday.

This issue could further present more problems for fellow Serie A side Napoli, who are set to travel to Barcelona next week for a Champions League round of 16 return leg fixture.

Meanwhile, some upcoming Europa League matches will be played behind closed doors, following the decisions taken by relevant authorities regarding the COVID-19 virus.
