Chelsea Are Ready To Battle For The Signing Of Bayer Leverkusen Youngster "Kai Havertz".

Chelsea are prepared to compete for the signature of Bayer Leverkusen winger Kai Havertz, and are willing to offer massive £75m for the youngster.

The 20-year-old Kai Havertz has been a major target for some top European clubs like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but Chelsea are set to hijack the move for the impressive German winger whom they believe would be an ideal replacement for Willian and Pedro who have been tipped to leave the Stamford Bridge this summer.

This would be a second transfer Chelsea would likely complete from the Bundesliga in less than a-week after reportedly reaching a £53million deal for the transfer of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

The Blues having gone two transfer windows without making any single signing, have already completed the £37miilion transfer of Ajax forward Hakim Ziyech who is expected to join them at the start of next season.

They are also currently in the process of reaching a deal with 23-year-old Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.

Kai Havertz made his debut in the Bundesliga at the age of 17 since joining the Bayern Leverkusen firsr team in 2016.

He has been sk sensational for Leverkusen this season, scoring 15 goals and creating eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

Havertz missed out of the Bayern Leverkusen’s 4-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich last Saturday due to a knee injury he suffered in their previous game on May 29.

Bayer Leverkusen would be without Harvertz in their DFB-Pokal semi-final clash against fourth-tier Saarbrucken on Tuesday, and not yet known if he would be available when they travel to play Shalke in the Bundesliga next Sunday.
