Arsenal Stuns Reigning Champions Man City To Reach The FA Cup Final.

Arsenal stuns reigning champions Manchester City with a shocking defeat at Wembley, to qualify for the 2019/20 FA Cup final on Saturday night.

The match saw Gunners boss Mikel Arteta defeat his former boss Pep Guardiola who he had worked under for three years at Man City before making the move to the Emirates Stadium last December.

Arsenal before the game, had lost their last seven matches with Man City in all competitions.

A goal from captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 19 and 71 minutes of each half was enough to get the Gunners through to the finals ahead of City.

The last time Man City lost to Arsenal in all competitions was also in an FA Cup semi-final clash in 2017 under former manager Arsène Wenger, with Arsenal finally emerging champions of the competition after defeating Chelsea in the Final.

Wenger at the time, became the most successful manager in the competition's history with seven trophies.

Arsenal had knocked-out Leeds, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Sheffield United and Manchester City on the road to the final.

The North London side have reached the FA Cup final a record 21-times, and now have a chance to add to their joint-record 13 FA Cup titles when they face either Manchester United or Chelsea at the Final in Wembley on Saturday, 1st August.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking after the victory against Man City says:
"We've had an incredible week to beat the best two teams in Europe, it doesn't happen every day.
"I don't care who plays, I can trust them. We made changes and everyone was ready.
"We had to suffer in many moments. We had to be really well-organised and minimise the spaces."
