Real Madrid Interested In Signing Wilfred Ndidi Ahead Of The January Transfer Window.

Real Madrid are interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi ahead of the January transfer window.

The Spanish giants manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly made a request to the club president Florentino Pérez that it is necessary to strengthen the midfield position in the next market with Ndidi the primary target.

According to Fichajes, the Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is unhappy with current Brazilian midfielder Casemiro who has struggled for form so far this season, and could see the defensive midfielder leave the club, with PSG and Newcastle United both reportedly interested in his signature.

Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi is likely to be made available by Leicester for £52million, and would be a direct replacement for Casemiro.

Real Madrid would have to face competition from Manchester  United who are also highly interested in Ndidi in recent years despite still having three years left on his contract with Leicester City.

The 24-year-old, is currently a key player for the Foxes since joining from Genk for £17m in January 2017, making 187 appearances, scoring 9 goals, and creating 11 assists.

He was signed as a replacement for French star N'Golo Kante, who joined Chelsea for £32m in July 2016.
