Victor Moses Deal To Join Burnley Has Been Blocked By The Premier League.

Burnley have had their attempts to bring Spartak Moscow player Victor Moses to the club 'blocked' by the Premier League.

The Clarets tried to bring Moses from Russian club Spartak Moscow on a short-term deal, but has been stopped by the Premier League, the Nigerian international in limbo as Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues.

Despite the FIFA and UEFA’s recent ruling/decision tol allow players from teams in Ukraine and Russia to join other European teams on short-term deals until the end of the season even though the transfer window is shut, in other to save them from the ongoing crisis between both nations.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last month led to both countries domestic leagues being suspended.

Burnley and Spartak Moscow were all willing to make the former Super Eagles star return to play in England until the end of the season, but the Premier League, have ruled they will not accept any requests for new transfers due to concerns over the sporting integrity of the competition.

Victor Moses joined Spartak Moscow on an initial loan move from Chelsea in 2020, but the move was made a permanent one last summer, and right now, he is currently being left in limbo  amid Russia's conflict with Ukraine.

The 31-year-old  means the 31-year old is our of contract until the end of the current season, meaning that he is clubless and without income and isolated away from friends and family in the capital of Russia.
