All About The Second-Leg UCL Quarter Final Fixtures.

The 2021/22 Champions League Quarter-final fixtures are halfway to completion, with each of the first legs having been played. 

English sides Liverpool and Manchester City secured crucial win in the first-leg last Tuesday against Benfica and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Man City who knocked-out Sporting in the Last-16, defeated Atletico 1-0 to take a narrow lead to the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano, whilst Liverpool saw off Inter Milan on their way to the quarter-finals. 

Liverpool has a 3-1 lead already secured for their return match against Benfica at Anfield.

Meanwhile LaLiga Santander's sides Real Madrid and Villarreal had memorable wins last Wednesday against Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid won 3-1 away at Chelsea thanks largely to Karim Benzema's brilliance, with the Frenchman scoring another Champions League hat-trick to give Los Blancos a good lead to take back to the capital with them.

Villarreal, meanwhile, should have claimed a more comfortable win than the 1-0 they managed against Bayern Munich. They had countless chances to extend their lead, and were left wondering just how good it could have been at the final whistle.
