Chelsea Put N'Golo Kante Up For Sale Amid Serious Interest From Manchester United.

Chelsea has reportedly made N'Golo Kante available for sale amid interest from Manchester United.

The Premier League, Champions League, and World Cup champion was a goal for incoming Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag, who wants to boost United's midfield department in the summer transfer window, according to Mirror Football.

Despite Thomas Tuchel dubbing Kante as Chelsea's version of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, The Athletic reports that the Blues are eager to trade the France international for a bargain following their long-awaited takeover, which was completed on Saturday morning. Kante had an injury-plagued season last season and just has a year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel called his team's third-place result this season a "miracle," given that he was gone for the majority of the season due to injury. "I believe he is our key, key, key player," the Blues manager stated, "but key, key, key players must be on the pitch."

"He only appears in 40% of the games. So it's a bit of a miracle that we came in third. He is our Mo Salah, our (Virgil) Van Dijk, our (Kevin) De Bruyne, and he is simply that player. He's our Neymar, our Kylian Mbappe, the player who makes the difference. It's a significant problem if you only have him 40% of the time.

"Given that percentage, it's almost miraculous how constant we are in producing results, and it puts everything into perspective." Because I witnessed Liverpool last season without Van Dijk and they struggled a lot. You can notice the change now. So N'Golo is an important player for us, and he needs to play."
