Paul Scholes Insults Cavani And Varane, Calls Them A 'Disgrace'

After an injury-plagued season for Manchester United, Paul Scholes has called Edinson Cavani a "disgrace."

Cavani only made 20 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, scoring twice. During the season, the 35-year-old endured three injuries that kept him out for extended periods of time.

His Old Trafford contract expires in June, and he is anticipated to leave for a spell with another European club. Scholes stated on Premier League Productions that the Uruguayan will not be missed.

He explained, "I think Cavani was a disgrace this year, he rarely ever played." "He had to travel back from wherever he was, therefore he withdrew out of the Middlesbrough game."

"Erik ten Hag has been hired and now requires assistance. Who is going to assist him in this endeavor? The board is still a shambles. We don't know for sure."

Scholes did not end his passionate tirade there, as he issued a warning to one United defender ahead of the 2022/23 season. "Do you know what, we believed Ronaldo was coming in, Varane was coming in last year as well," he continued.

"'All right, here we go,' you think. Varane has been a letdown this season for sure."
