Chelsea And Inter Milan Reach An Agreement Over Lukaku

 According to reliable reports, Chelsea and Inter Milan have reached a 'deal in principle' to loan Romelu Lukaku back to the Italian club. Lukaku's return to Stamford Bridge last season did not meet expectations, and he battled to get regular starts under Thomas Tuchel.

As the summer transfer window approached, it became evident that Lukaku was eager to return to the San Siro, and Inter were also interested in a deal.

Given the Italian club's financial situation, they were only interested in a loan agreement, and Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly was willing to let the Belgian go.

According to The Athletic, Inter's first offer was rejected, but the two parties returned to the table and have finally achieved a 'understanding.'

Inter were told last week that they couldn't afford to sign Lukaku on a permanent basis, despite the fact that he scored 64 goals in 95 games for the club and helped them win the Serie A title during his time there.
