REVEALED! Super Eagles Team List, Team News Ahead Of Sao Tome Match

The Super Eagles will play Sao Tome and Principe in an AFCON qualifying match on Monday, June 13th, 2022, at the Stade d'Agadir in Morocco, after arriving in Morocco.

This will be the Super Eagles' fourth match under new manager Jose Peseiro, who will be looking for his second victory in as many games.

Preview

The Super Eagles will be looking to build on their AFCONQ opener against Sierra Leone, which they won 2-1 last Thursday, by winning their second game in a row against Sao Tome.

Sao Tome, on the other hand, lost 5-1 against Guinea Bissau despite taking the lead through 22-year-old Ebanilson Viegas.

Because the Falcons have never qualified for the World Cup or the AFCON, there has never been a match between Nigeria's Super Eagles and Sao Tome.

What can you expect?

The Super Eagles dominated the game. The sheer talent of the Nigerian players will ensure that they dominate early events, regardless of the structure or composition of both sides.

Chances must be taken promptly, though, since the longer it takes to score, the more frustrated Sao Tome side becomes, which boosts their confidence.

Football is a strange game in which nothing is set in stone, but it would be remarkable if The Falcons could upset the Super Eagles by defeating them on Monday.

Fans should expect an attacking game from Peseiro, who may use this game as an occasion to showcase his new team's full attacking potential.
