BREAKING: Chelsea Finally Reach Agreement With Man City Over Raheem Sterling Transfer

According to the most recent reports, Chelsea and Manchester City have agreed to terms for the £47.5 million transfer of Raheem Sterling.

The 27-year-old has already agreed to the conditions of a five-year contract that includes a one-year extension option.

Chelsea are currently planning how to schedule a medical in London. If everything goes as planned, Sterling will travel to the United States with his new teammates for their preseason trip.

The English international is believed to have spoken to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel about what it's like to work there and was impressed with the German coach's plans for the team.

In his seven years at City, Sterling has made 339 appearances and 131 goals for the Premier League champions.

He moved to City from Liverpool in July 2015 for an initial fee of £44 million, and since then, he has won four Premier League championships, one FA Cup, and three League Cups.

There will be intense competition for spots in Pep Guardiola's starting XI next season as a result of the additions of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, as well as the performances of players like Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, and Riyad Mahrez.

On August 7, City will play its opening match of the 2022–23 campaign against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
