Manchester United Angrily Responds To Cristiano Ronaldo's Transfer Request.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to leave Old Trafford this summer, and Manchester United has already reacted angrily by warning him there is "no chance" of that happening.

Less than a year after making an emotional comeback from Juventus, the Portuguese superstar has been mentioned numerous times in the past few months as a possible shock departure from the team.

The 37-year-old forward was reported to be extremely frustrated by the team's inability to qualify for the Champions League last season, as well as their alleged lack of transfer activity. He now appears to be expressing the strongest desire to depart thus far.

According to The Times, he has informed the club that, should a good offer be made for his services, he would prefer to be permitted to depart. 

He is claimed to be sure that he will still be playing at a high level and competing for trophies in three or four years, despite United not having won a trophy since 2017.

Naturally, it is still unclear whether a deal for the striker would be feasible given that a number of clubs have already been mentioned as potential suitors. 

Former team Juventus has already been suggested, and during a meeting between agent Jorge Mendes and new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, the forward was also suggested for a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Red Devils maintained their stance after that meeting. The club was incensed by rumors regarding Mendes' meeting with Boehly and that Ronaldo would be staying with the team for the foreseeable future, according to an Old Trafford source.

According to Mirror Football Man United have insisted that "Cristiano is not for sale." "We want him to be with us next season, and we absolutely expect him to be."

His present teammates are likewise embracing similar approach as new manager Erik ten Hag gets ready to oversee his debut campaign at Old Trafford after leaving Ajax. 

Following a private conversation in the off-season, Bruno Fernandes, a fellow Portuguese international, has stated that he does not believe the Red Devils would be willing to sell their top goal scorer last season.

At the beginning of the current campaign, Bruno stated; "I spoke to him a few weeks ago - we're both on vacation, no one hassles friends on vacation - I want to meet him on the fourth to train there at Manchester United, I'm not expecting more than that.
