Man City Reveals Erling Haaland Shirt Number At The Club.

Following his official introduction as Manchester City's new Number. 9, Erling Haaland has delivered a message to the team's supporters.

He wore the same jersey number during his final campaign with Borussia Dortmund, where he became probably the most exciting young player in sport. Haaland, who joined the team for £51 million, will replace Gabriel Jesus, who signed with Arsenal earlier this week, as the No. 9 player.

At just 21, Haaland has already scored 62 league goals in 67 games for Dortmund in the Bundesliga, and City supporters can only anticipate him to get better. Haaland has now been named as City's new No. 9, and the player himself has sent a message to the supporters.

“I'm delighted to have been presented with the number 9. It's been part of my story over the last two years, both at club level and with the national team and I'm looking forward to continuing that at Man City... Said Haaland.

“It's a shirt that every striker aspires to and to wear it at one of the best clubs in the world is a dream come true. I can't wait to get started.”

Studded squad, Pep Guardiola has also acquired English midfielder Kalvin Phillips and youngster Julian Alvarez in addition to Haaland.

Jesus has relocated to London, and Nathan Ake and Raheem Sterling might be on their way there as well because Chelsea is eager to hire them.

Many predict that Haaland will end the season with the most goals in the Premier League, but he will have competition from the league's top scorers of last season Mohamed Salah, Heung-Min Son and Cristiano Ronaldo.
