OFFICIAL: Tyrell Malacia Becomes First Signing Of Erik Ten Hag Era At Man United.
Manchester United have confirmed the signing of left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord for a reported fee of £12.9m.
The 22-year-old becomes Man United's first signing of the summer transfer window under new manager Erik ten Hag.
He signed a contract until June 2026, with the option to extend for a further year.

The Dutch defender came from Feyenoord's academy and made 136 career appearances for the Eredivisie side since making his professional debut in December 2017.
He has represented his country Netherlands at every level from the Under-16s to the senior team, with five full international caps to his name, and will likely be a part of Louis van Gaal's squad of the World Cup in Qatar in November.
Malacia will provide competition for Luke Shaw and Alex Telles at left-back in the upcoming Premier League season should both remain at the club.
Lyon had reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the Eredivisie club for the left-back but United hijacked the deal at the last minute.

Tyrell Malacia expressed his delight having completed the move:
“It’s an incredible feeling to have joined Manchester United. This is a new chapter for me, a new league with new team-mates and a tremendous manager Erik ten Hag leading us... He said.
“I know from playing against his teams in the Eredivisie, the qualities that he has and what he demands of his players.
“Whilst I know that I am still young and will continue to develop, I can promise the United fans that I will leave everything on the pitch every time I pull on the red shirt. I’ll always be thankful to Feyenoord for all they have given to me and my family.
“None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for them. Now I’m ready to focus on the future with United, and help my new club achieve success.”
Malacia has the same agent Hasan Cetinkaya as Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong who is also reportedly close to joining United this summer. United also look set to sign free agent Christian Eriksen after he reached a verbal agreement with the club following the end of his short-term contract with Brentford.
