Arsenal v Tottenham: Predicted XI, Team News And Injury Updates

After the international break, Arsenal will continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday at noon when former rivals Tottenham Hotspur visit the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners, who had won six of their opening seven games, entered the international break atop the standings. They defeated Brentford 3-0 in their most recent league game, and they'll be feeling good going into the North London derby.

But in derbies, form typically isn't a factor, but Mikel Arteta will be wary of Tottenham, who are only one point below Arsenal in third place.

Team News And Injury Updates

Thomas Partey, who had just made his comeback from a month-long absence due to a thigh injury against Brentford, was forced to leave Ghana's starting lineup against Brazil last week as a precaution owing to a suspected knee soreness and is a slight doubt.

Due to a head injury, Kieran Tierney was forced to withdraw from the Scotland team to play Ukraine on Tuesday. Emile Smith Rowe and Mohamed Elneny have already been ruled out, and Arteta was evasive when asked about his availability.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is anticipated to be well enough to play against Tottenham, which will be a huge boost, but Arteta refrained from confirming this.

Ben White was also pictured in training with a small group of players on Tuesday whereas Martin Odegaard played the full 90 minutes in Norway’s 2-0 defeat to Serbia in the Nations League. Cedric Soares is also a big doubt for the game.

Arsenal Predicted XI:

Ramsdale; Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba, White; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard, Jesus.

Tottenham Predicted XI:

Lloris; Dier, Romero, Lenglet; Perisic, Hojbjerg, Bentacur, Sesseguon; Richarlison, Son; Kane.
