Kizz Daniel Lived His Dream As He Performs At The FIFA World Cup Fan Festival With Over 50k Fans In Attendance.

 Nigerian music superstar Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel treated the audience at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar to a sensational performance on Wednesday night.


The 22nd edition of the World's biggest sporting event kicked off last Sunday, November 20 in the Asian continent.

A musical FIFA Fan festival was also organised as one of the side attractions that come with the festivities of the World Cup.


It was a big day for the Afrobeats genre Kizz Daniel who finally lived his dream.

Earlier this year, Daniel had expressed his desire to perform ‘Buga’, his hit song with Tekno, at the World Cup.


His dream came true as he shared a video snippet of his performance in Qatar via his verified Instagram page with the caption;

“AS A NAIJA BOY I SAY THANK YOU AFRICA. THANK YOU WORLD. #fifaworldcup2022 #qatar2022 ”


He entertained over 50,000 fans present at the festival with a collection of hit songs from his catalogue.

Some of the songs include; ‘Pour Me Water’, ‘One Ticket’, 'No do', 'Lie', 'Madu' 'Woju', 'Eh God (Barnabas)', ‘Cough: Odo’, ‘Good Time’, and 'Buga'.


Kizz Daniel had tweeted hours before his performance that he would unite the world with his music.

The massive audience in attendance, cheered on and sang along as he delivered ‘Cough’ in style The ‘Buga Crooner’ treated the crowd with a live-band performance, complemented by a set of finest dancers.

The enthusiastic soccer fans could be heard yelling for more as they could not get enough of him, chanting, shouting, and screaming whilst begging the singer to continue.


 



Patoranking is another Nigerian performer scheduled to appear in the ongoing 2022 World Cup tournament.


Fans expected Nigerian superstar, Davido, to perform at the Qatar 2022 opening ceremony, but he was absent for obvious reasons.

Davido was billed to perform the FIFA 2022 theme song, ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together), alongside featured artists Trinidad Cardona, Davido and Aisha.


The competition, which began on November 20, will continue until December 18.
