Everton Makes Decision Over Frank Lampard's Future At The Club.

Everton have made a decision on Frank Lampard's future, and it is widely expected that he will leave his position at the club.

Lampard is feeling the heat and pressure is mounting on his job, with the Everton board reportedly held an emergency meeting on Sunday.

The ex-Chelsea midfielder saw his side suffer a 2-0 defeat against fellow strugglers West Ham on Saturday.

Everton has now gone 10 games without a win in all competition, and the recent defeat  to relegation rivals Southampton and West Ham appear to have sealed his fate at the club.

The result leaves Everton joint-bottom in the Premier League table, that is 19th place above Southampton on goal difference.

They have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games which was a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on October 22, and since the return from the World Cup break in November, the Toffees' only point came when they managed a 1-1 draw away at Manchester City.

The club have also been eliminated from both domestic cup competitions in that time.

Lampard arrived at Goodison Park in January 2022 and although he helped the club avoid the drop last season, he has picked up just 15 points from 20 games and just three wins this season.

The mood around the club is toxic with blatant struggles on the pitch and fans venting their anger at the board.

Per the Daily Star, the 44-year-old Lampard is no longer favored by owner Farhad Moshiri.

Owner Farhad Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright were in attendance at the West Ham game, which was Moshiri's first live game since October 2021.

Sean Dyche, Nuno Espirito Santo, Marcelo Bielsa and Everton legend Wayne Rooney are among the top candidates tipped to replace Lampard in the hot-seat.
