"I Don't Really Like Arsenal"... Gift Orban Reveals He Wants A Dream Move To Man United, Man City or Liverpool.

KAA Gent forward, Gift Orban has revealed he would turn down a potential move to Arsenal, as he’d prefer to join Premier League sides Liverpool, Manchester City or Manchester United.

The Nigerian striker, has been been in impressive form for the Belgian side since joining the club from Norwegian second-division club Stabaek at the end of January.

He has bagged 19 goals and two assists in 19 games in all competitions for the Buffaloes, helping them to the Jupiler Pro League playoffs, including five goals in six games in the Europa Conference League.

Orban notched a first-half hat trick within three minutes and 25 seconds in his side’s 4-1 away win over Istanbul Basaksehir in March.

He set a new record for the fastest hat trick in UEFA club competitions, breaking the previous record of six minutes and 12 seconds held by Mohamed Salah in the Champions League.

The 20-year-old rising star has scored a goal every 75 minutes for the club and they are not looking to sell him anytime soon.

He appears to have a bright future in front of him and if he continues as he has started in Belgium, the biggest clubs in the world are likely to come calling before too long.

His performances have attracted interest from abroad, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Barcelona linked to him. However, those are not the only teams that are keeping tabs on the hitman in the summer.

According to reports, English giants Man United sent scouts to watch Orban in Gent’s 4-0 victory over Cercle Brugge in the Jupiler League playoffs.

Orban scored hattrick in that game to help his side seal their third consecutive win in the playoffs.

Apart from the Red Devils who are desperately searching for attacking options, a number of clubs across Europe have also sent scouts to monitor Orban in recent weeks.

While Orban is happy to remain with Gent before seeking a future move, turning down offers from top European clubs could prove impossible at this time.

He has never hidden his desire to play in the Premier League, but Gent would also want a huge fee for Orban, as he is under contract until 2027.

Suitors may be able to get him for less than €20 million as he joined the Belgian club for only €3.3m.

Speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws about this season so far and where his future may take him, Orban has admitted that he doesn’t want Arsenal, and instead would prefer Man United, Man City or Liverpool.

“Playing in a big league,” he told the newspaper when asked what his ‘craziest football dream’ is.

“At a club where I feel comfortable AND where I play. The Premier League is my ultimate dream. Manchester United, Liverpool or Manchester City (laughs).

“I don’t really like Arsenal that much – it’s like they don’t want to win titles. They play and sell players – that’s it. I want to go somewhere where they win prizes. At Real Madrid they don’t have time for tiki-taka, there they just grab titles.”
