Vinicius, De Bruyne Are The Only Non-Inter Milan Players In The UCL Team Of The Week. {Full List}

UEFA have released their traditional Team of the Week ratings and it is mostly dominated by Inter Milan players.


As at the end of each round of matches, UEFA draws up its top 11 or better known as Team of the Week , with the best players who have stood out the most in this first round of semi-finals.

UEFA made the announcement in a post via its website on Thursday afternoon following the conclusion of the Champions League semi-final first-leg fixture on Wednesday night.


Nine out of 11 players are from Inter. The Nerazzurri had defeated local fierce rivals AC Milan 2-0 in the first leg Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night.


Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko had open the scoring after finding the back of the net with a volley on the corner in just 8 minute into the encounter, before Armenian attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan added the second for Inter in the 11th minute.


The game ended 2-0 in favour of Simone Inzaghi’s side, as Mkhitaryan '34', was named the Man of Match.


Dzeko, Mkhitaryan, goalkeeper Andre Onana, defenders Denzel Dumfries, Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi, Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco and midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu were also spotlighted in the XI by the UEFA Fantasy Football panel.


The only players in the ideal XI who were not from Inter were Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior and Manchester City's hero Kevin De Bruyne.o

Both Vinicius and De Bruyne also scored sensational goals in the 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
