PSG Puts Kylian Mbappé Up FOR SALE, Having EXCLUDED Him From Pre-Season Tour In Japan.

Paris Saint-Germain have considered putting star player Kylian Mbappé FOR SALE starting from today.

 

The striker has already told the club that he does not intend to sign a new deal, meaning that if they don't sell him now, they would risk losing him on a free transfer next summer. 

Over the last few days, there had been a lot of speculation about the player's final decision to either stay in Paris or finally play in La Liga. 

He came close to joining Real Madrid last year's summer, while his contract with the Ligue 1 side was set to run out in the summer of 2022.

Back then, Mbappe went on to sign a two-year contract extension with PSG, breaking the hearts of many Real Madrid fans in the process. But now, it looks like a move to the Spanish capital could be back on.

That Mbappe’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2024 and it has emerged that he does not want to extend it further. 

On the other hand, PSG have made their stance quite clear as well. They want the Frenchman to either agree an extension or leave in this ongoing transfer window, as they now feel betrayed and certain that Kylian has already agreed a free transfer with Real Madrid next summer.

PSG's plan was fairly simple when Kylian Mbappe arrived back from his holiday. They were instructed to convince the player to stay with some outrageous offer or officially put him for sale by excluding him from their preseason tour. 

This has led to the French club making a massive statement on Friday night by  dropping Mbappe out from their Japan tournée which departs on Saturday, simply by posting the list on their official website. There is no sign of the World Cup winner, who is still deciding his future at the club.

The Ligue 1 champions only want players committed to the club on tour, and take the view that no player is more important than the club despite Mbappe returning to the club's training sessions this past week as he was spotted wearing the team attire while training alongside his brother. Both Kylian and Ethan Mbappe seemed happy to train together as the list for the Japan/South Korea pre-season tour was being decided. 

The club sought clarity from Mbappe when training resumed this month but nothing has been communicated by the player.

Defensa Central reports that PSG made a staggering and unbelievable offer to Mbappe, with a 10-year contract on the table worth €1bn (£865m/$1.1bn). It would tie Mbappe to the club until the age of 34 and essentially operate as a lifetime deal. It would also be the most lucrative sports contract in history.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano; PSG are convinced that Mbappe has already agreed terms to join Real Madrid in 2024 on a free deal. They wanted an answer on the ‘new deal or leave now’ proposition by July 15 but there has been nothing at all. He is now considered available for transfer.

CloudNine Sports understands that PSG haven't specified whether they will sell him to Real Madrid or any other potential suitor, of which there are many who have been waiting for developments. The only other options that could prevent Mbappe from playing at Real Madrid are a few teams from the Premier League.

Of course, Mbappe won't want to hurt his legacy at Parc des Princes, where he has spent six seasons, but not everything will depend on the club, as he holds the majority of the cards right now, with only a year left on his contract. 

The view from PSG insiders now is that the gloves are off and it's time to stand up for what's right, having also seen Lionel Messi leave to the MLS side Inter Miami on a free transfer this month.

PSG are convinced it's just about money for Mbappe now. If he stays in Paris just until next summer, he picks up huge wages and bonus - more than £100m. Then next summer he can get a £160m signing-on fee in Madrid as a free agent plus huge wages.

Mbappe has become something of a legend in France, scoring 212 goals in 260 games, while also registering 98 assists. He has never won the Champions League, however, although he did win the World Cup with France in Russia 2018 and helped fire them to the final in Qatar 2022, where they lost to Argentina.
