Victor Osimhen DELETES All Photos/Videos Of Napoli On His Instagram, As He Threatens To Sue Club Over Bizarre Mocking TikTok Video. {Watch Video}
Victor Osimhen has deleted all photos and videos featuring a Napoli shirt on his official Instagram account.
He has threatened to sue his club Napoli over an unacceptable mocking video that was posted on Tuesday in the club's official TikTok account.
The Italian club shared a video on their TikTok account showing the striker missing a penalty in their 0-0 draw against Bologna in the Serie A last weekend, with a high-pitched odd voice saying ''gimme penalty please" dubbed over the top.
Osimhen had a night to forget against Bologna as he missed a penalty which proved to be the games defining moment in the 72nd minute before being subbed off in the 86th minute of Sunday's goalless encounter.
The Nigeria Super Eagles star was not amused by Rudi Garcia's decision as he was caught on camera shouting and airing his frustration towards the manager.
However, the French manager downplayed the situation.
"Even the greatest players in the history of football miss penalties. As for when he (Osimhen) went off, we talked about that, what I say to my players remains in the locker room," Garcia told reporters.
"When we have this much quality, we can’t always have 90 minutes with the same men, especially as we have four games in nine days."
Osimhen has already scored three goals in his first five matches this season.
The strange video was eventually pulled down by Napoli following a serious backlash on social media, but his agent Roberto Calenda has threatened to take legal action against the club.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.
“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news. We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor,” Calenda wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Osimhen joined Napoli for a club-record €81.3m in the summer of 2020 and he was integral to helping them win a first Serie A title (Scudetto) in 33 years last season, scoring 26 goals in 32 league appearances, and 31 goals across all competitions.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with Chelsea and Manchester United this summer, after refusing to sign a new contract with the Italian team.
After a run of two wins, a defeat and two draws, the champions are languishing in seventh place in the Serie A standings and trail leaders Inter Milan by seven points.
They play Udinese at home on Wednesday night.
