Jadon Sancho Career At Man United Is Finished Even If He Swallows Pride And Apologize.

Manchester United are preparing to offload Jadon Sancho in the New Year.

Sancho has not played for United since August after being banished from the squad as punishment for publicly disagreeing with Ten Hag's reasons for dropping him for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on September 3.

The 23-cap England international came off the bench during the first three games of the campaign, restricting him to just 76 minutes of action this season.

Ten Hag revealed that Sancho's exclusion from the match, was due to his poor attitude in training, and this did not go well with Sancho, who in turn criticised the him of lying.

Sancho claimed he has been made a scapegoat in a social media post which he later deleted, which resulted in him initially being ordered to train separately at Carrington, and also being forced to train with the club's under-18 squad.

In recent weeks, Members of the Red Devils' hierarchy have reportedly also spoken to Sancho, outlining that his rift with Ten Hag can only be resolved if he says he is sorry for his actions.

Teammates closest to Sancho has persuaded him to save Man United career, and be added back to the first-team fold, but it seems that is no longer an option for him as an apology received now, more than six weeks after the incident, would mean very little.

According to the Mirror, Sancho's career at the club is reportedly ‘finished’ even if he apologises to manager Erik ten Hag or not.

Despite joining the Red Devils in a deal worth €85million from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund two years ago, some members of staff believes that the winger is no longer in the Dutch tactician's plans.

Man United have now added him to the club's transfer list ahead of the January window opening for business, with suitors showing interest in the Man City's academy product.

Sancho who is now valued at €32m by Transfermarkt and a contract at Old Trafford until at least June 2026. United may have to accept a significant loss to offload him next year.

United are hoping to receive an offer from Saudi Arabia. Back in the summer, Al-Ettifaq wanted to sign Sancho, but a deal did not materialise.

The Red Devils were only prepared to sanction a loan move with an obligation to buy for £45 million. This put off the Saudi Pro League giants.

There could be fresh proposals in January, but reports claim that he prefers to stay in Europe.

Former club Dortmund and Juventus are both keen on Sancho, but they prefer a short-term loan until the end of the season, with United covering some of his £250,000-a-week salary.

It was at Signal Iduna Park where Sancho enjoyed the most productive spell of his career, having chalked up 114 goal contributions during his four years stay at the Bundesliga club between 2017 and 2021.

The 23-year-old is still well regarded at Dortmund, and remains in contact with coach Edin Terzic.
