Alvaro Morata Claims That He Wasn't Loved At Chelsea Football Club.

Alvaro Morata has claimed that he wasn't loved enough at his former club Chelsea.

The 27-year-old Spanish striker, is currently on an 18 months loan at Spanish Club side Atleticò Madrid, after enduring a frustrating outing with the Blues in London...

Morata who joined Chelsea from Real Madrid in a £60Million deal at the begining of the 2017/18 season, spent only a one and a half season with the Blues before making a long time return to the Spanish club Atletico Madrid early January 2019 on a loan and he is set to make his loan move permanent at the end of the season, in a reported fee of £55Million.

Alvaro Morata speaking on his time with Chelsea:
"When I was in Chelsea, I didn't feel like doing anything, leaving home, talking to people, nothing at all. The only thing I had interest was playing football, improve my game and be happy, but in the end it was the opposite."

"I'm happy at Atleticò Madrid, In Chelsea, I didn't believe in myself. I had the feeling that whenever I am with the ball, my teammates gives me a look and I knew they thought I would not make a good use of the ball."
"
It was driving me crazy. I had a bad time."

Morata continues: “..going to do anything good. If only I'd been able to mature before 20-22 years old, but I'd never faced such a limiting situation. I told my wife that we were going to go as far away as possible in January because I couldn't deal with this pressure.

"Atletico Madrid came up, I had six or seven big offers, and Chelsea wanted me to stay, but I decided to do what I'd been looking to do for various summers."
"I have never been able to be in a place for many years. I've been in the best teams but I've never had continuity."

"When I was at Juventus, I knew in the middle of the season that they [Real Madrid] were going to buy me back, and things like that distract you."

"Now it depends on me and if I give my best, I will be here for many years. I would love to retire at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. I have five or six good years left."

Since making the move to Atleticò Madrid, Alvaro Morata has found the back of the net 11 times in 25 appearance in the La Liga compared to his 16 goals in 47 appaerance in the Premier League.
