Freddie Ljungberg Replaces Unai Emery As Interim Head Coach Of Arsenal Football Club.

Arsenal Football club of England have just relieved Unai Emery his job as Manger of the side after the 2-1 defeat by Eintracht Franfurt at home in the Europa League ...

The 48-year-old Spaniard Emery was appointed Manger at Arsenal in the summer of may 2018 signing a two-year deal and an option to extend his contract, replacing former Manager Arsene Wenger after his 22 years in charge of their of the club.

Ljungberg Replaces Emery!

The former Sevilla and Paris-Saint-German manager Unai Emery has only managed to win just 4 games, 6 draws and 3 loses out of 13 Premier League games for Arsenal this season, and are currently 19 points below League leaders Liverpool. He took charge of 78 games as Arsenal Manager, getting 48 wins, 16 draws and 19 losses in total.


Arsenal director Josh Kroenke said: 

"Our most sincere thanks go to Unai and his colleagues who were unrelenting in their efforts to get the club back to competing at the level we all expect and demand.

" We wish him and his team nothing, but all the best they can get in the future".

Arsenal have therefore appointed Assistant first team coach and player Freddie Ljungberg as Interim Head Coach, whoose first game in charge would be their visit to Norwich on December 1 in the Premier League, till the board is able to appiont a permanent Manager.

The 42-year-old Sweedish "Freddie Ljungberg" on his Twitter handle, released his first statement  as Head Coach of Arsenal saying...

"However long I oversee Arsenal for, I will give everything I have to put smiles on faces of the fans again. We have a busy few weeks ahead and the team needs your support. Let’s get to work" 

Italian and former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, who has been out of job since the summer of 2019, Mauricio Pochettino who was just relieved of his job by Tottenham earlier this month, current Napoli Manager Carlo Ancelotti, former Arsenal player Mikel Arteta who is currently the assistant manager under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City,  and Nuno Espirito Santo who guided Wolverhampton to the Europa League spot last season have all be linked to succeed Unai Emery as Permanent Manager for Arsenal.
