Five More Wins For Liverpool To Be Crowned 2019/20 Premier League Champions.

Liverpool are now five more wins away from been crowned the 2019/20 Premier League Champions, after getting a victory over a resilient Norwich side at Carrow Road.

The game against Norwich on Saturday seems to be a very tough one for Liverpool, until Sadio Manè was brought on from the bench in the second half after some weeks out due to an ankle injury. The 27-year-old Mane went on to score the only goal of the match in the 75th minutes, which gave Liverpool the 1-0 win at full time.

The goal for the Senegalese Mane who joined Liverpool in June 2016 means that he has now scored a 100 career Premier League goals. He scored 25 with his former team Southampton and now 75 for Liverpool.

Liverpool have now won 17 consecutive Premier League games in a row, matching their best ever winning streak in league football which was set by the same team between 10th March to 5th October 2019. They are just one shy of Manchester City’s all-time English top-flight record of 18 wins between August and December 2017.

Liverpool have now played 26 games in the Premier League, having 25 wins, 1 draw against Manchester United last November and No defeat this season.

Jurgen Klopp men, have scored a total number of 61 goals and conceded 15 so far, and are comfortably sitting top of the Premier League table with 76 points, that's 25 points ahead of second place team Manchester City with 51 points.
