Odion Ighalo Lands in UK To Complete Loan Move To Manchester United.

Manchester United new signing Odion Ighalo, has arrived in Manchester from China to complete a loan move to the club until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old agreed to join United after a last minute bid was made for him by his dream club on deadline day of the January transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is expecting the arrival of Ighalo to the club, as short term solution to help fix the United's forward crisis at the moment, with Marcus Rashford facing at least another couple of months on the sidelines with a stress fracture of his back, has been short of options going forward for the club.
Anthony Martial and youngster Mason Greenwood are the only current forward options available Solskjaer, but Ighalo will help come in and ease that burden.

United is expected to pay a third of Ighalo's £300,000 wages, while his parent club Chinese Super league side Shanghai Shenhua pays the rest.

The Nigerian forward, finally breaks his silence since the announcement of the deal last Friday night, speaking on his arrival to Sky Sports News.;
"It's been crazy you know,"
“I’m happy to be in Manchester first and this is a great opportunity for me.
“I’m grateful to God and to my agent and to the coach who’s given me the opportunity to be here, to walk out with the team and finish very well this season.
“It’s a dream come true because since I was a kid, I’ve always dreamed about Man United. But this is reality now, so I can’t say much until I get started".
"The plan is to chill today because I travelled a very long way from Shanghai to Manchester. Today is just to rest and tomorrow we start to work."
