Anthony Joshua Goes Into Self-Isolation, Following News Of Prince Charles Testing Positive To COVID_19.

British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has gone into self isolation following the news on Wednesday morning that Prince Charles had tested positive to Coronavirus after showing mild symptoms.


Joshua was with the heir to the throne Prince Charles '71' at the last Commonwealth Day celebration service at Westminster Abbey, UK on March 9 (16-days-ago).

Joshua’s spokesman, speaking in a chat with Daily Mail said;
"The heavyweight champion remains ‘fit and healthy’ despite coming into contact with Prince Charles only a couple of weeks before the heir to the throne tested positive for coronavirus."
The world heavyweight champion is following government guidelines around self-isolation but has shown no symptoms of the deadly disease."
“He wishes everyone affected a speedy recovery and a huge thank you to all the front line key workers.”


The virus which threatens to derail his upcoming fight against mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, scheduled to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Staduim on June 20, as the 30-year-old prepares to defend his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles.

It may further delay the much expected all-British bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury until 2021 at the earliest.
