Juventus Defender Daniele Rugani Tested Positive To Coranavirus.

Juventus have confirmed that centre-defender Daniele Rugani has tested positive to the dreadful Coronavirus.

The Italian giants said in a statement that Daniele Rugani who played in several matches since February, and was on the bench for last Sunday's SerieA home game against Inter Milan, has now been quarantined in a bid to reduce the risk of the footballer spreading the virus to teammates at Juventus who had trained earlier on wednesday.

Inter Milan have also decided to suspend all their training activities after hearing the news.

According to reports following the club statement, 5 times Ballon D'or winner Cristiano Ronaldo have not been with the team, as he had travelled to Madeira to be with his family and would remain there "awaiting developments related to the current health emergency".

The 25-year-old Italian international, speaks via his social media page, on having contacted the Coronavirus;
“Yes, I’ve the Coronavirus - but I want to reassure all those who are worried about me, not to worry, now I’m fine. I urge you to respect the rules, because this virus makes no distinctions! Let's do it for ourselves, for our loved ones and for those around us”.

Uefa will tomorrow postpone Juventus-Lyon round of 16 return leg fixture in the Champions league, as they had on Wednesday postponed the Inter Milan vs Getafe game in the Europa league.
