Two-time Unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is now officially set to face IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev as his next fight on June 20 at the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, UK.

The battle between the Bulgarian boxer Pulev known as (The Cobra), is a must-be-challenger for the belt of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the British/Nigerian boxer Joshua is guaranteed.

Joshua only recently regained his IBF, WBA, and WBO titles by defeating Andy Ruiz Jr. via unanimous decision in a buot billed as 'The Clash On The Dunes' in Saudi Arabia last December.

Kubrat Pulev '38' commented on the upcoming fight via his Facebook page saying;
"I am delighted to have the opportunity to show the world how strong I really am,"

The fight will be Joshua's first fight in the UK since beating Alexander Povetkin at Wembley in September 2018.

“I’m back in my home city after some time away. A spectacular stadium has been built in North London and I’m honoured to bring the boxing community from all over the world to witness us make history"... Says Joshua.

Both fighters, have only lost one fight in their boxing career, with Joshua's only defeat was as a shocking one against Mexican boxer Andy Ruiz Jr. in June 2019 at the Madison square garden, while Pulev’s only defeat came in the fifth round by KO against Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko back in November 2014 in Hamburg, Germany.

Anthony Joshua have fought 24 times in his career, winning 23 and 21 by Knockouts and 1 loss. His opponent Kubrat Pulev has fought a total of 29 fights, won 28, 14 by KO and 1 defeat.

CloudNine Sports understands that despite the recent clamor among boxing fans for Anthony Joshua to fight newly-crowned WBC Gypsy king Tyson Fury, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has said that he is hoping to match Joshua and Fury with each other if they come out victorious in their respective upcoming bout.
