Wilfred Ndidi Makes An Outstanding Return, As Leicester City Trashes Aston Villa.
Nigerian Midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi made an outstanding return from a knee injury after being out of the squad since 1st February, as Leicester City their winless run with a massive victory over Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old had earlier undergone surgery on his meniscus in January, returned to action just 13 days later, but after two appearances against West Ham in the Premier league, and Aston Villa in the League Cup second leg semi-final fixture, he experienced another soreness on his knee and was forced to be withdrawn from the squad just hour before the home game against Chelsea last month in which they drew 2-2.
Leicester City have gone on to play 4 matches in the Premier league without the presence of their indespensable defensive midfielder, and haven't won any game since then, losing 2 and getting 2 draws.
Ndidi who have netted 3 goals in the premier league this season, finally makes a crucial return to action in the game against Aston Villa at the King power staduim, the match ended in a 4-0 result in favour of Brendan Rodgers men on the night.
Harvey Barnes opened the scoring for the foxes in the 40th minutes, before second half substitute Jarmie Vardy added 2 goals both in the 63rd and 79th minutes respectively.
Barnes finished the scoring on the night with a brace at the 85th minutes, and was named the Man of the Match afterwards.
