Playing Alongside Cristiano Ronaldo Would Make Me A More Prolific Player... Kevin De Bruyne Heaps Praises On The Portuguese Star.

Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has heaped praises on Juventus star Cristiano  Ronaldo, as he reveals how playing with the five times Ballon D'or winner would make him a more prolific player.

The Belgian international, claims that his already incredible assist numbers would go up even further if he would have the opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo because of his creativity as a player.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports' 'The Football Show, the 28-year-old believes he is a more complete player right now and can flourish with magnificent midfielders such as Xavi and Iniesta, but preffers to focus more going forward;
"I'm somebody who's quick, who can go deep, that helps me a lot.

"You can play with magnificent midfielders, but strikers, for what I do, are probably the main importance."

"So I would choose to play with someone like the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, or maybe a Thierry Henry."

He added that Ronaldo would be great for his assist record.

"I could probably put in a cross about three metres high and he's still going to get it anyway, so that's going to make my assists go up!"

De Bruyne also spoke about how comfortable he feels right now playing consistently for his team Man City;
"In every aspect of the game now I feel really comfortable. At Wolfsburg, I did incredibly well, but I was more up and down.

“But the past three seasons, maybe a little less last season, I'm happy as I'm playing at a constant level."

"From the first game against West Ham to the last against Real Madrid, I've played really well."

“That makes it satisfying that I can be consistently good at a good enough level to perform."

Kevin De Bryune who is highly regarded as the best and most complete modern day advanced playmakers, has taken his game to a whole new level, scoring 9 goals and assisting 20 goals for his teammates this season across all competitions.
