Chelsea Winger Pedro Is Set To Join Roma At The Start Of Next Season.

Chelsea winger Pedro will join Roma as a free-agent at the start of next season, after agreeing on a two-year deal with the Italian side.

Pedro whoose contract with Chelsea was due to expire end of June, agreed on a decision with the club earlier this week on a short-term extension of his contract till the end of the 2019-20 season, in order to allow him end the current prolonged campaign with Chelsea.

According to sources, the 32-year-old Spaniard, agreed on a two-year deal worth £50,000 per week with the Serie A club, who have the option to extend the contract by another 12 months.

The move will see Pedro end his five-year stay with the London Blue side, since his 2015 summer move from Spanish club side Barcelona, a team where he played as a youth.

Chelsea have already completed two signings, which is Ajax's Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig's Timo Werner who are expected to arrive Stamford Bridge in July.

Both Ziyech and Werner can play out wide and will help to fill in the void of Pedro going forward for Chelsea next season.
