Harry Kane And Jose Mourinho Dedicates Victory Over Newcastle To Serge Aurier.

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane celebrates his team win away to Newcastle on Wednesday night, and has dedicated the victory to his teammate Serge Aurier whoose brother Christopher was shot dead in France earlier this week.




Spurs defeated Newcastle 3-1 at the St. James Park to boost their chances for European spot qualification.

Heung-Min Son opened scoring in the 27th minutes of the game, ending the first half with a 1-0 scoreline.

The second half began quite intense for Spurs, as Newcastle got an equaliser in the 59th minutes through a Matt Ritchie goal in the 56th minures.

Harry Kane's brace in the 60th and 90th minutes ensures that Jose Mourinho team secures all three points against the Magpies at full time.

The 26-year-old Harry Kane, bagged his 200th and 201st goals in 350 club appearances. He also currently has 32 goals in 45 caps for the Three Lions.



Spurs manager Jose Mourinho also paid tribute to defender Serge Aurier, who played 90 minutes of the match despite the tragic incidence;
“Serge Aurier is a very strong character, every person has different ways to face tragedies like this one, and in his case he wanted to play.”

"We would always support his decision, and Tomorrow he will travel to France to go see his mum".


Spurs, who defeated London rivals Arsenal 2-1 last Sunday, are currently seventh on 55 points, a point behind Wolverhampton Wanderers in sixth, which is likely to offer the last Europa League spot for next season.
