Steven Gerrard Set To Remain As Rangers Boss Despite Been Linked To Relace Klopp At Liverpool.
Steven Gerrard has been tipped as the natural replacement for Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp by many football fans and pundits when the German leaves the club.
Liverpool have struggled to hit the heights of their Premier League winning season with Jurgen Klopp coming under pressure having poorly defended the title.
Following Gerrard claiming his first trophy with Scottish side Rangers and dethroning dominant Celtic in the Premiership, some have pointed to the former England midfield meastro as the natural successor to Klopp.
Steven Gerrard lifted the first league title of his career last Saturday as Rangers trashed Aberdeen 4-0 to complete a miraculous season.
The 'Gers finished the season unbeaten and with a 100 per-cent win record at Ibrox, capping off an incredible season for the club who claimed their first league title in ten years, and 55th top flight title in the Premiership.
Gerrard's team are the first to go unbeaten since Brendan Rodgers' Celtic in 2016-17 and also matched their city rivals' 107-year-old clean-sheet record.
They finished last season 13 points behind their rivals Celtic, but finished 25 points ahead this time.

The league title came in Gerrard's third-year stay as a manager, having joined Rangers in June 2018 having left his role as a youth coach at Anfield.
Gerrard has long been linked with the managerial hotseat at Liverpool, and it has previously seemed inevitable that he would one day take over from Jurgen Klopp.
But the Liverpool legend admitted on Saturday that he no longer considers himself a one-club man, and that Rangers now holds a special place in his heart.
"I mean, when I grew up as a kid I thought it was one club for life," he told Sky Sports.
"I've come through at Liverpool and had my career at Liverpool which I'm immensely proud of
"I came up here with my eyes wide open to learn more about the club, I had a good idea from the outside but this has grabbed me, it's gripped me.
"It's a club like very few in the world. There's a lot of similarities with Liverpool.
"I'm happy here, I've got to make a lot of sacrifices family-wise, but I want more.
"This has given me a taste for more and I'm determined to build on it."
"I wanted to enjoy this moment because it's been a long time since I've smelled this success and the Champagne. I absolutely stink right now but it feels really good and I want more of it."
The 40-year-old British manager, believes getting the recruitment right, was the secret to overhauling their rivals this season and it will be again next term.
"We got the last window right, then it was about using the hurt to drive us on more," he said.
"The way last season was curtailed, it gave us a chance to reset. From the first day of pre-season, they guys have given me everything and more."
"You can see the last few games that we're short in certain areas. I've had some really interesting meetings with the board and they're with me, they'll back me and we'll go again."
Gerrard was recently named there William Hill Scottish Football Writers’ Manager of the Year, and he is currently under contract at Rangers until the summer of 2024, having signed his new deal on the same day Klopp also signed an extension at Liverpool.
Both managers will become free agents in the same year, leading to speculation that the former Anfield skipper will take over from the Premier League and Champions League-winning coach.
But Gerrard's comments on Saturday hint that he plans not to depart Rangers yet.
Rangers would go into a pre-season, as they look forward to maintain their dominance in the Scottish top flight next season, but more immediately they prepare for the Champions League third qualifying round which will take place in August.
